We always love getting your fresh mushrooms, but having our toddler home this summer, we were in desperate need for activities. This grow kit has been so much fun for him, and we’ve been talking about what we’re going to cook when they’re ready. I think we’ll get the expansion kit as well!
I am great that you are back at Winter Park Farmers market. Being a vegetarian, I really like lion mane; it great to grill. Hopefully you will be adding more varieties.
Chicken Fried Lion
The dish is chicken Marsala with mushrooms from Nearby Naturals and homemade pasta.

We ordered the mushrooms twice and loved them both times. We made incredible raviolis both times stuffed with vegan ricotta. They were a big hit. Additionally we sliced the oyster mushrooms thin and fried them for a vegan calamari dish. Fantastic
I received five different types so I had fun mixing two or more in one dish. I made clear soup (photographed), fried noodle, curry, and croquettes, and more. It was absolutely fun, I want to buy the set again when available.
I love getting the 3lb mixed box of mushrooms from Nearby Naturals because I can use them for a variety of dishes, but I always take the opportunity to make a great bowl of homemade ramen and use these beautiful and meaty mushrooms as the star topping for the bowl. Another household favorite is the cheesesteak - use WAY more mushrooms than you think you should, and use a variety. Shred them up and let them reduce in size, toss with worcestershire sauce (vegan option available) and a little soy, salt and pepper, then add sliced green peppers and onions until the desired texture. Load the mix into toasted hoagie rolls, top with provolone cheese, and toss them under the broiler til the cheese is nice and melted and bubbly. Take them out and either eat immediately or wrap tightly in foil to steam all the goodness throughout the bread. DELICIOUS!

Ah man these gourmet mushrooms low key slap. I made some vegan crab cakes with the lion's mane and they were so good they are still trending in my household. Give me like 10 days and I'll be ordering again probably every week. And I really want to offer to work there if y'all looking for a fellow mycologist to chop it up with. Good looking out
