Grow your own Lion's Mane mushrooms. Mist and harvest!
(Yields 2-4 Lbs)
Enjoy amazingly fresh mushrooms at your home. A very simple process that will most likely turn into your new favorite hobby!
Lions Mane (Pom Pom, Crab of the Woods)
Flavor texture: mild, earthy yet clean
Our best seller and fan favorite. Lauded for its medicinal properties and is considered a “natural nootropic”. A very reliable strain that has some serious yields. Customers have reported up to 4 lbs off of the first harvest, and another lb. on the second harvest. Don’t be tempted to allow the “hairs” to grow out too long, while it looks super cool it negatively affects the flavor and shelf life. Major staff favorite!
This species is truly delicious and our farmers market customers and chef clients just can’t get enough of em. They’re extremely versatile in the kitchen and they can be used in many recipes as a meat substitute, topping, side dish, etc. They are great sliced thick and grilled. We like to say these mushrooms are perfect for those who “don’t like mushrooms” due to their clean and approachable flavor. Breaded/fried or tempura seems to be the favorite method of preparing these varieties.
Our grow kits are made to order. We don’t use any preservatives and they don’t sit in a warehouse or stockroom for weeks before being shipped out. They’re super fresh and 100% viable this way.

It's a birthday present for my daughter, she just received it, so hasn't had time to grow them yet. She was thrilled to get them! She found out about you at the Winter Park, FL Farmer's Market.
Growing lion’s mane has been so much fun, and the results are super tasty! Managed to get about three pounds off of my first flush, so it fed my spouse and I for three days. Working on my next flush now! Super happy to get helpful feedback via email too.

Seared Mushroom Steak (flavored with garlic and thyme) with mashed potatoes and lima beans. Yum!
I absolutely love these mushrooms!!!! The kit was easy to grow and well worth it!
I’m a gardener and was very interested in growing ‘shrooms. Was a cool experience. The pioppinos were outstanding; the lion’s mane was a bit mysterious. I researched but would’ve appreciated more info on harvesting markers for that particular genus. Regardless, both were so yummy and amazing. Fresh ‘shrooms are such a delicacy for us urban dwellers and these were incredible. Recommend!
You dropped the kit off at my house and after following your growing directions - the mushrooms grew and grew and grew. I will be ordering more mushrooms through you in the future. Unfortunately, when it was almost time to harvest the 2nd growth - I accidentally picked up the furniture polish bottle instead of the water misting bottle and misted the mushrooms. The polish bottle said it was nontoxic, but didn't want to eat furniture flavored mushrooms, so I ended up tossing them. I am a happy customer and will purchase more kits as the weather cools off more.
Thank you - Maxine
This was my first time growing/eating lions mane! It was super easy and pretty fun. Also it felt awesome to be able to grow my own food on my countertop that has so many health benefits! I’m excited to try many more mushrooms
My 10 yr old daughter, husband and I decided to grow some mushrooms during quarantine and what an awesome experience it was! We forage for wild mushrooms here in Washington state so it was an incredible way to get to see how they grow from start to our table! SO REWARDING and EDUCATIONAL!
I love this mushroom kit, and it keeps growing and growing. We are going to try every kind in the future. The lion’s mane mushrooms are hearty and paired well with or in a lot of our island recipes.
The lions mane was so fun and easy to grow! I read online that it kind of has a seafood flavor and texture and they weren’t wrong! I panfried it in butter with some salt and pepper, dressed it with mayo, lemon, paprika, and green onions, and made a veggie “lobster” roll! Can’t wait to grow more!
I got two harvests off this box, this one weighed about 3 lbs the second was less. The flavor was good. The first harvest I just fried them in olive oil. They have a lot of water in them and soaked the oil up like a sponge. The second harvest was used in a stir fry. Very tasty.
This mushroom lives up to everything I have heard about it. Super easy to grow. The texture is equivalent to scallops and it has a light crab taste. I highly recommend this easy grow kit
These kits have been a great distraction during these times.
