It took longer than I expected for the mushrooms to grow to a point that I could eat them, but, in the end I was able to made these Sticky Teriyaki Mushroom Skewers! Also, I’ve turned the bag on it’s side and cut and rearranged the plastic bag so now I’ve got a second harvest going on what used to be the side of the bag!

So far so good I guess. First time with King Oysters. With all my kits I always get the babies popping up all over the top, even under the plastic. I just have to set them free!! Well keep you posted!

Nearby naturals customer service told me that we bought one of the first king oyster grow kits. Pretty awesome for a brand new product, whoever I was emailing was very nice. The instructions were clear enough for my youngest daughter to understand. No complaints here. Too many mushrooms to eat in one night for a small family. Making faux pulled pork with the extras.

fun + easy If you have the right temperature. in PA we put it in our garage. it got to 30 degrees then up past 70 degrees all within one week and it still grew really well. although I don't see many other reviews so i'm not sure what to compare it to but it looks like the advertisement I guess. Learned a lot about mushrooms even though the goal was just to grow some shrooms for dinner. would buy again, probably different kind though. please add more recipes to your web site. sry for the blurry photo

To be honest I didn't follow the instructions but it still worked! these little infant mushrooms are really wild looking, my kids are obsessed and wake up early to check on them everyday. should be harvesting in a couple of days. So far I love it! maybe i'll actually read the instructions next time. It would be better if it said somewhere really large on the package to read the instructons.. for people like me with bad eyes.
either way....happy! customer service was quick and Im already trying to decide which variety to get next. ...they have coupon codes on their email list.
