Gourmet dried mushrooms can be soaked in warm water for about 20 minutes to rehydrate. Simply drain the water from the mushrooms and sauté with salt and butter for an easy side dish or topping. Mixing multiple varieties together tastes great, but cooking them separately makes for a fun mushroom tasting at a get-together.
